Right Redacted

Right Redacted is a critical exploration of the pervasive influence of harmful ideologies in our society. By physically redaction and repurposing problematic far-right text, Jeffrey Choy aims to reclaim these spaces for a poetic reinterpretation.

The goal is to transform toxic rhetoric - through examining pseudo intellectual self help books, into new works that challenge prevailing assumptions and offer alternative perspectives. The project is a personal journey of self-discovery.

As Jeffrey engages with these problematic texts, he is forced to confront his own biases and assumptions. This process has led to a deeper understanding of the complexities of language, ideology, and power dynamics.

The project is an outcome of research at Metal Peterborough.

The project is currently ongoing and seeking venue to exibit in, along with sharing and discussion.
